School Board

The School Board plays an important role in contributing to good school governance so that school resources are used efficiently and community expectations and the school’s priorities reflect the needs of students. The functions of the School Board are covered by legislation and include both approval and advisory roles. Some of the matters the Board makes decisions on include fees and charges, book lists, sponsorship and dress codes. The Board makes these decisions with the Principal who ensures the decisions adhere to legislative and policy requirements. 

The School Board, comprising of the Principal and elected staff, parent and community representatives, meets once each term, in Week 3. Interested members of the school community are welcome to attend Board meetings as observers.
